1948 OlympiansExhibition, Oral History & Publication1948 was the last time the Olympics was held in London. The contrast is stark; London was recovering from war, athletes weren’t paid, were training on rations whilst working full-time and most had to hand sew their own kits….. Publication Current & Forthcoming Exhibitions Scunthorpe Luton London Rugby Huddersfield The images and audio will be part of an exhibition at Hackney Museum from 29 May – 20 October 2012, and the exhibition will be showing at Luton Airport during May and June 2012.
